Feasting CD-ROM Update
This update is for Feasting on the Word: Complete Twelve-Volume Set on CD-ROM. It adds printing functionality and adjusts the viewing size of the page for users with screens smaller than 1280x1024 screen resolution (most laptops or small desktop monitors). For those users, the page adjusts to show the bottom of the scroll bar which was previously hidden.

Instructions:

For PC

1. Make sure that the CD-ROM program is installed on your computer. You do not need to have the CD-ROM in the computer.

2. Download the update file here. The file is an .exe file, which will open automatically on your computer.

3. After the file downloads, choose "Run" on the window that appears. Depending on the security software on your computer, warning messages may pop up asking if you wish to continue. Choose to continue the installation process.

4. After the installation completes, open the Feasting on the Word program from its installed location (your start menu or desktop).

5. When the program opens:

If your screen is 1280x1024 or smaller (most laptops or small desktop monitors), you may need to "maximize" the program window by clicking the maximize button next to the exit button at the top of the program window.

If you have a widescreen monitor, you may need to adjust the size of the program window for optimal viewing and to show the bottom of the scroll bar. You can do so by clicking on one side or corner of the program window and, while holding down the mouse button, dragging it in towards the center until you see the bottom scroll bar. You can adjust the window horizontally and vertically, and the viewing window that shows the page will adjust automatically. You can also adjust the size of the page by zooming in or out on the page using the menu at the top right of the program.

To print any page or selection of pages, click on the print icon. The window that appears will show the current page number of the entire series as the default printing option. For example, if you are on page 4610 of the series, the printing window will show that page and not the page of the individual volume. You can choose to print a set of pages (for example, 4610-4614) or just the current page. Do not enter the page of the printed volume as it does not correspond to the pages in the electronic edition.

For Mac
